Enterprising Women (http://www.enterprising-women.org) is a network that supports, connects and empowers women in business with a community of over 45,000 women.
You can find many useful resources, articles and initiatives on their website. They also have a Membership (for a fee) with additional benefits. Their Local Business Clubs are in Cambridge, Fareham, Glasgow, Manchester and Skipton.
The Enterprising Women community was founded in 2006 by Bev Hurley, CBE who is an amazing woman. She is currently Chief Executive (CEO) of YTKO Group that is on a mission to enable the creation and/or support the growth of businesses.
Prior to joining YTKO, Bev Hurley created, grew and exited three successful companies. She was honoured with a CBE in the Queens New Year Honours list in 2014. She is a UK Enterprise Ambassador, Angel Investor and Non-Executive Director on several boards, Chair of the Institute of Economic Development was awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise Promotion in 2010, and won the First Women Business Services Award in 2011.
